Moth Walk at Quaker Wood
Thursday 8th of October 2026 ~ Between 10 am and 12 noon

Local lepidopterist, naturalist and presenter Jono Forgham will be at Quaker Wood to carry out a survey of the species of micro moths that lay eggs on leaves and then the caterpillar feeds between the layers of the leaf, leaving clear marks that aid identification. There will be more than 20 species present.

All welcome to join him to find out more about this fascinating method of recording moth species. Just turn up and join in.
